World Series Game 3

The Kansas City Royals formula worked again tonight with a 3-2 win over the San Francisco Giants to take a 2-1 series lead. The Royals started the scoring in the 1st inning when Alcides Escobar had a double and scored on a Lorenzo Cain ground out. In the 6th inning, they added two runs Escobar had a single and scored on Alex Gordon double. Gordon would score on a Eric Hosmer single to give the Royals a 3-0 lead. In the bottom of the sixth the Giants would get back in the game. Brandon Crawford singled and scored on a Michael Morse pinch hit double. Morse would score on a Buster Posey ground out to the Royals lead to 3-2. The Royals bullpen would keep the Giants scoreless for the last four innings. The Giants will send Ryan Vogelsong to the mound against the Royals Jason Vargas Saturday night at AT&T Park with first pitch at 8:07 P.M.
