World Series Game 7

Game 7 was a close game with great relief pitching on both sides. The Giants got it started in the top of the second inning with Pablo Sandoval getting hit by a pitch. Hunter Pence got a base hit and Brandon Belt got single as well, then Michael Morse hit a sacrifice fly to given the Giants a 1-0 lead. Brandon Crawford had a sacrifice fly to give them a 2-0 lead. In the bottom of the inning the Royals tied it up, Billy Butler had a singled and scored on a Alex Gordon double. Then after a Salvador Perez hit by pitch and a out Omar Infante hit a sacrifice fly to score Gordon. Then the Giants took the lead for good in the top of the fourth inning, Sandoval had a single and Hunter Pence also had a single, Michael Morse had a single scoring Sandoval to give them a 3-2 lead. The bullpen would shut down the hitters the rest of the night. Madison Bumgarner pitched 5 scoreless innings one hit relief to cement his place as the World Series MVP. He also gave the San Francisco Giants their 3 World Series title in the past 5 years.
