With the World Cup 3 years away in Russia and The Women’ World Cup a few days away in Canada all of the attention is on FIFA President Sepp Blatter. Today in Zürich, Switzerland he was reelected to his fifth term as President, and despite several members being arrested for corruption FIFA is making billions in revenue. However, the revenue has not come without problems wide-spread corruption, Qatar stadium workers being killed in accident building stadiums getting ready for the 2018 World Cup, and Blatter not doing anything to clean up the problem from the past. I have been talking about corruption of sports governing bodies. FIFA has to undertake a massive overhaul to clean up the corruption from the past, but as long as Sepp Blatter is in charge things will not change any time soon.
