The Golden State Warriors had a balanced attack and despite Lebron James scoring 44 points they defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 108 to 100 in overtime. League MVP Stephen Curry had 26 points, Klay Thompson had 21 points, plus Andre Iguodala had 15 points off the bench. The Warriors had the better bench outscoring Cleveland’s bench 34 to 9. For Cleveland, Kyrie Irving had 23 points before leaving the game due to a knee injury in the overtime,and Timofey Mozgov had 15 points. The Cavaliers had to more bench scoring and a healthy Irving going into game two. Game two is at Oracle Arena Sunday night with tip-off at 8:00 P.M.
