FIFA is continuing to shoot itself in the foot with another scandal besides President Sepp Blatter being charged with bribery, and serving a 90 day suspension. There is another scandal coming to the surface and that involves the UEFA President. Michel Platini was charged with receiving a payment of 2 million Swiss francs as an adviser to Blatter from 1998 to 2002, and is severing a 90 day suspension as well. Platini, whose chances of succeeding Blatter could be ruined because of this matter. FIFA can’t get this right because they have talked about cleaning out the corruption and starting fresh. The only thing that is fresh is a new scandal that once again put the beautiful game in a dark and not flattering light.
