World Series Game 3

The New York Mets had to win tonight’s game against the Kansas City Royals and they did 9-3 to cut the deficit to 2-1.   It didn’t start too good for the Mets in the first inning.  The Royals scored on a fielder’s choice to lead 1-0, but the Mets took the lead in the bottom of the inning on a David Wright two run homer.   Then the Royals got four hits in the top of the 2nd inning and took the lead 3-2.   Then in the bottom of the 3rd inning, Curtis Granderson hit a two run homer to give the Mets a 4-3 lead.  Then in the bottom of the fourth inning  Michael Conforto drove in another run with at single to give the Mets a 5-3 lead.  Then in the bottom of the sixth inning the Mets got 4 runs on a pinch hit single by Juan Uribe, a 2 run single by Wright and a Yoenis Cespedes sacrifice fly.  Noah Syndergaard pitched 6 solid innings and the Mets bullpen kept the Royals scoreless the rest the game.  Game 4 will have Steven Matz going for the Mets and Chris Young who won game one out of bullpen will go for the Royals.  First pitch at Citi Field will be at 8:00 P.M
