James Connor is outstanding running back at the University of Pittsburgh, and suffered a torn MCL earlier this season. He wanted to play in the last couple games this season and maybe go into next year NFL Draft. Today, he was supposed to make that announcement, but it was something else. Connor announced that he has Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, and will begin treatment immediately. He has been given 85 to 95% chance to beat the disease. During the news conference, Connor said that he is not worried about going through chemotherapy, and will play football again for the Panthers. I am hoping that next season starts Connor will be running the ball for Pitt.
