The tragic death of former New Orleans Saints defensive tackle Will Smith has rocked the NFL.  Smith was shot in a road rage incident Saturday evening outside of a New Orleans restaurant.  Tyrann Mathieu, safety of the Arizona Cardinals was on the Rich Eisen Show, and NFL Network’s Total Access talking about making a difference in the city.  Mathieu, who played his college football at LSU before drug problems got him kicked out of school.   He talked about there should be more Boys and Girls Club centers in New Orleans and kicking out crooked politicians.   Mathieu admitted that he doesn’t visit his home city too much.   However, he wants kids to see there is a life outside of New Orleans, and wanting to reach them.  I applaud him for overcoming his past and trying to get through to kids.
