Game 2 Vs the Washington Capitals was a tough one and it started with Olli Maata began knocked out of the game on a questionable hit by Brooks Orpik. The first period was scoreless. In the second period Carl Hagelin scored on a wrist shot to give the Penguins a 1-0 lead after the period. In the third period, Kris Letang was called for tripping period, but it was a bad call. Marcus Johansson scored on the ensuing power play to tied the game at 1. Then Eric Fehr scored on a tip in to give the Penguins a 2-1 lead late in the 3rd period. The Capitals pulled Brandon Holtby for the sixth attacker and press the issue. Matt Murray made the stops and the Penguins win the game 2-1 to tied the series at 1 game apiece. The only concern is the power play that has not scored in the series so far. Game 3 is Monday night at Consol Energy Center with faceoff at 8:00 P.M.
