Stanley Cup Finals Game 4 Vs Sharks

The Penguins were able to dedicate the tempo in-game four and they were able to get a goal from unlikely source.  Ian Cole scored on shot from left point to give the Pens a 1-0 lead  after the first period.  Matt Murray was able to make big saves on the Sharks and bounce back after losing in game three.  The Penguins couldn’t sit back on the lead because the Sharks have bounced back from a deficit in previous lead.

The Sharks got called for a penalty and the power play finally scored when Evgeni Malkin  scored on rebound of a Phil Kessel shot to give the Pens a 2-0 lead and Murray kept the Sharks off the board in the second period.   The Penguins have lost two games in the regular season and  playoffs when leading after two periods.   The Sharks came out with a sense of desperation.

They cut the lead to 2-1 when Melker Karlsson scored on a rebound, but Murray made some key to keep the Penguins on top by one goal.   Eric Fehr took a pass from Carl Hagelin to give them a 3-1 lead and victory.   The Penguins have a chance to win the Stanley Cup on home ice for the first time ever.   Game 5 will be Thursday night at Consol Energy Center with face-off at 8:00 P.M.
