World Series Game 5

The Cleveland Indians were primed to win their first World Series since 1948.   The Chicago Cubs were trying to force a game six.  The Indians scored first on a home run from Jose Ramirez in the top of the second inning.   Then in the bottom of the 4th inning, the Cubs scored 3 runs. Kris Bryant tied the game on a solo home run, Addison Russell got an infield single scoring Anthony Rizzo, and David Ross got a sacrifice fly.   Francisco Lindor cut the Cubs lead to 3-2 with a single scoring Rajai Davis.   Cubs manager Joe Maddon brought in closer Aroldis Chapman in the 7th inning to close the game out.   Both bullpens were able to keep the game at 3-2 Cubs leading going into the top of the 9th inning.  Chapman got the Indians out in order and the Cubs win the game 3-2.     The Indians still lead the series 3 games to 2 going into Tuesday’s night game six at Progressive Field.   The Cubs will send Jake Arrieta who had a great game two.   The Indians will send Josh Tomlin on short rest to win the World Series and first pitch will be 8:00 P.M.
