The Steelers struggled on offense for most of the game but came to life in the 4th. The defense had 3 sacks and an interception. However, they didn’t turn the turnover into points. 13 penalties were also a problem because it took away opportunities from making big plays. The running game was ineffective because the offensive line didn’t open the holes. Special teams gave up a blocked punt that was returned for a Baltimore touchdown early in the 4th quarter. They also had a terrible offsides kick that was recovered by the Ravens.
Ben Roethlisberger coming back from knee surgery was rusty during the first half but threw for 264 yards and a 23-yard touchdown pass to Antonio Brown. The 21-14 loss to Ravens dropped the Steelers record to 4-4. They will have a tough game next week against the 7-1 Dallas Cowboys at Heinz Field with the kickoff at 4:25 P.M.
