The Pittsburgh Steelers concluded the 2017 NFL Draft with draft picks from the 4th through 7th round. In the 4th round, they pick up Quarterback Josh Dobbs from the University of Tennessee. Dobbs could be Ben Roethlisberger’s replacement with the next 3 years. In the 5th round, they took Cornerback Bryan Allen from the University of Utah. Allen will add some depth in the secondary and could be a contribution this season. in the 6th round, they made a surprise pick in Long Snapper Colin Holba from the University of Louisville. Holba could change Greg Warren for the long snapper job. Their 7th round pick was Outside Linebacker Keion Adams from Western Michigan. Adams could be a spot starter or play on special teams. The draft for the Steelers was good in getting their needs and depth. They also got 9 post-draft free agents, and some might a get a close look in training camp. However, the draft will be judged on the contributions of the picks on the field.
